Murals by Miguel Covarrubias World Trade Center Lobby - Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA
Commissioned for the 1939 World's Fair, the works range in size from 14' x 12' to 8' x 6' and depict themes of the countries and peoples of the Pacific Rim. As the Ferry Building is being renovated, however, the murals will probably be moved. Efforts are under way to find a permanent home for them, and Treasure Island (site of the World's Fair) is a likely prospect.

floor.

Bill McKenna and the Vintage Music Theater
For over 40 years, conductor Bill McKenna has kept the music of the past alive
in the Bay area. His orchestra's musical tributes to 20th century

the Peninsula, are well-loved and well-attended. Coming in June: Bill's
